We are a family that have been expecting our second child for over four years now. We started the adoption process in the spring of 2006, submitted our paperwork to China in September of 2006 and have been waiting patiently for a child since. We finally we got our referral and plan to have the process completed and travel to China this coming spring!

Our zoo

A quick primer on the menagerie that "follows" Bea around. At times any of these can be found in her bed, our cars, daycare, on the table, under a towel in the middle of the floor, etc. 

All these are named by Bea. The names are not very creative but they are descriptive. Actually, it is always impressive that she has learned so much over these last few months.

Baby Elephant (she pronounces this pretty good)

 Cat! (Always said as an exclamation)

Last, but not least, my favorite Dog-Cat. (she wasn't sure if this was a dog or cat, so now it is both)

    she's certainly not alone. wylie's favorite animal that followed her EVERYWHERE for 8.5 years was a pig named (wait for it... wait for it...), Piggy. :)
