We are a family that have been expecting our second child for over four years now. We started the adoption process in the spring of 2006, submitted our paperwork to China in September of 2006 and have been waiting patiently for a child since. We finally we got our referral and plan to have the process completed and travel to China this coming spring!

Picture This






Apparently, the big there here is wedding and model photography. No matter where you walk on Shamian island, there are people taking pictures. I am told that people getting married will have elaborate pictures taken in rented clothes for their wedding. These are not their actual dresses for the wedding, but rented by a place here that will take their pictures. Usually in several different dresses. Also, this is not their wedding day, they have these taken long before
the wedding.





I was really sad that this picture is blurry. This couple is dressed in Chinese Army garb for their wedding photos.





















There are also lots and lots of modeling shoots here. If there isn't a bride in front of an old building, there is a model.



















































Even Olivia got in on it.
